Internet Explorer 7.0 can be used if your PC uses a licensed version of Windows. But if not, then it won't be useful for you. It's definitely a good thing for Microsoft. But with pirated/unlicensed Windows user number to at least 90% in Third World countries including China, I believe this would boost FireFox as the browser of choice. Remember the browser wars in late 90s when Netscape was for sale while the crude IE was given for free? It sealed Netscape's coffin as the browser leader. Giving away N for free a while later did nothing to stop the onslaught of IE. I believe in the saying, life is like a wheel, what goes around, comes around.

Best:

Tabbed Browsing
Unobtrusive Menus
Search List

Worst:

Tabbed Browsing - So does FireFox
Search List - So does FireFox
Not CSS compliant
